*Please note that the protocol submission deadlines have been changed from 2 weeks to 4 weeks beginning with the February 2012 IRB meeting to provide time for the HRPP/IRB staff to pre-review protocol submissions. The goals of the pre-reviews include: (1) a decrease in the number of protocol submissions that are reviewed during more than one IRB meeting due to substantive changes required for IRB approval; and (2) a decrease in the turnaround time for the review and approval of protocol submissions requiring full Board review.
