Expertise

Dr. Bernstein specializes in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization for children and adults with congenital heart disease. He has advanced training and experience in multiple therapeutic treatments, including transcatheter atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) device closure, balloon angioplasty and valvuloplasty, transcatheter treatment of coarctation of the aorta, coil occlusion procedure, needle/RF perforation and balloon septostomy, as well as stent implantation.
