Devoted to improving hospital care and outcomes for preterm and sick infants, Dr. Sanders provides clinical care in the NICUs and works in the neurodevelopmental follow-up clinic. She is the neonatal medical director of the Critical Care Transport Team, chairs the Connecticut Children’s Ethics Committee, and has led many initiatives to enhance the education of community providers of newborn health care.
