Dr. Silverman has interest in the care of critically ill children in settings outside of intensive care units. He focuses on improving the coordination of care amongst various providers. In addition, Dr. Silverman provides care to children in Haiti and develops methods of increasing hospital staff participation in global healthcare endeavors.
Donated toys help make every child’s visit to Connecticut Children’s as comforting and enjoyable as possible. Throughout the year, we gratefully accept toy donations for infants, children and teens, which we distribute to patients around the holidays and at different times of the year.
