SCAN Program

Employees at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center are dedicated to protecting the well-being of children in every way. Our commitment includes a responsibility to identify, report, intervene, and provide care in all suspected cases of child maltreatment.

Sleep Center

Connecticut Children’s Sleep Center specializes in diagnosing disorders that disturb children’s sleep. Our highly trained physicians use polysomnography, a type of sleep study, to identify sleep problems.

Speech-Language Pathology

Many infants and children affected by craniofacial anomalies, traumatic brain injuries and other neurological and developmentally-based illnesses may suffer from communication or swallowing disorders that can influence early learning, self-esteem and parent-child bonding.

Sports Medicine

Within the Division of Orthopaedics, Connecticut Children’s Elite Sports Medicine (ESM) is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program dedicated to helping adolescent and young adult athletes reach their top athletic performance.
