Dr. Verissimo treats pediatric patients who have chronic pain and chronic or life-threatening illnesses, and assists patients in the pre- and post-operative setting by teaching techniques to promote self-participation in surgery. She strives to integrate conventional allopathic medicine in conjunction with guided imagery, hypnosis and biofeedback when possible.
