Dr. Bernstein works in the departments of urology and nephrology, where her areas of expertise include voiding dysfunction, reflux disease, hydronephrosis, disorders of sexual development, and gender dysphoria. She is the co-medical director of the GUPPE Program which provides multidisciplinary, highly specialized care to patients with disorders of sexual development.
