Eldina Sabovic, RN, BSN
"As a new nurse, never did I feel that I had no one to turn to for help and guidance when I needed it most. More specifically in my work environment, the operating room, the teamwork and willingness to be supportive of one another as co-workers was one of the things that will always stick with me. Beyond my unit, this hospital itself has proven to be a great work environment for its staff and a great place to make an impact on the children it cares for."
Elaine Johnson, RN, CNOR
"I enjoy working with my co-workers. We are a family. We are supportive in our work life and personal life. I feel that my opinions and skills matter each day. Working in the Operating Room can be stressful at times but I know that my co-workers, surgeons, PCA, CSR staff and anesthesia personnel are always there for me in an effort to provide the best possible care for our patients and their families. I cannot think of a better place to work."
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
PICU nurses care for patients and their families during their most difficult times. PICU nurses work in collaboration with the PICU physicians to provide optimal critical care to our high acuity patients. Our PICU is the ideal place for experienced nurses to build critical care skills and learn skills through a comprehensive orientation program with the support of nursing leadership in a team-focused environment.
After a comprehensive, individualized orientation, PICU nurses enjoy a flexible work schedule – weekend only, day/night rotation and nights-only schedules are available. Contact us if you are interested in exploring PICU opportunities!
