HARTFORD, Conn. - 2MOMS on a Mission, two Enfield moms committed to aiding individuals, families and organizations, is leading fundraising efforts in support of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

This past January, 2MOMs presented Connecticut Children’s with the proceeds of a Quarter Auction, which raised $300 for the Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs).  The auction, which takes place monthly for various organizations and families, raises awareness for different local causes while promoting independent sales consultants and business owners throughout the community. Participating vendors include Tupperware, Avon Cosmetics and Scentsy.

2MOMs on a Mission has recently begun preparations for its 2nd Annual Beautiful Baby Contest. The baby that receives the most votes wins year-long bragging rights and the grand prize. Child-friendly companies including LEGO and Happy Family have also donated prize items. All contest participants agree to raise funds and encourage donations in support of Connecticut Children’s. The winner is determined by the most funds raised during the contest period and will be announced on June 1 at Center Court in Enfield Square.

“We are honored to have their support,” said Martha Schall, President of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation. “2MOMS on a Mission provides both financial resources and the opportunity to make sure that families know we are here for them when a child is sick or injured.”

If you are interested in participating, please submit your child’s photo along with their name and age (newborn to 3 years) to 2momsonamissionCT@gmail.com. In order to qualify, all photo entries must be received via email between the dates of April 19-27 and semi-finalists will be determined by voting on the 2MOMS Facebook page.
