Yale University School of Nursing
Amy is a 1990 graduate of Yale School of Nursing, holding a Master’s Degree in Pediatric Nursing. She has been with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center since 2004. She works closely with physicians within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery to provide care for children of all ages with a wide variety of orthopedic concerns. Her clinical interests include: pediatric trauma/fracture care, clubfoot deformity, neonatal hip disorders, and scoliosis management.
Prior to joining the staff at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Amy’s experience included: acute and well child care of children ages 0-18 years in both primary care and school-based health center settings, school-based developmental assessments for elementary school aged children, and serving as Program Director for a community based initiative aimed at improving access to services for children with development concerns.
Amy’s personal interests include travel, kayaking, pottery, reading, and spending time with family.
