    Clinical Expertise

    Jennifer Downs, MD is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and Division Head in the Division of Pediatric Psychiatry at Connecticut Children’s. Dr. Downs’ clinical interests include collaboration with her pediatric colleagues through consultation and liaison in the emergency department and medical-surgical floors. She also performs outpatient crisis stabilization for children with acute need of psychotherapy and/or medication management for their mental health conditions. In her free time, Dr. Downs enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family.
