    Clinical Expertise

    Jennifer Downs, MD is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Connecticut Children’s. Dr. Downs’ clinical interests include collaboration with her pediatric colleagues through consultation and liaison in the emergency department and medical-surgical floors. She also performs outpatient crisis stabilization for children with acute need of psychotherapy and/or medication management for their mental health conditions. In her free time, Dr. Downs enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family.
