Nancy Caperino is a Clinical Social Work Care Coordinator at the Center for Care Coordination at Connecticut Children’s.

Nancy’s clinical interest and expertise include working with children and families with chronic illness (sickle cell disease, asthma, and other health conditions), acute and chronic pain, behavioral health care needs, as well as children and youth who have experienced child abuse/neglect/trauma. Nancy’s work focuses on individuals, families, communities, and program development. The lessons she continues to learn from families have led to her commitment to issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.

In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys time at the shore, as well as cooking, gardening, and taking walks.
