Taryn has been an APRN with Connecticut Children’s since 2003. She works in the Division of Pain and Palliative Medicine. Taryn is a May 2017 graduate of the Yale School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.
She serves as the Advanced Provider representative on the hospital’s Medical Staff Executive Committee and is an Instructor (CCMC) in the Department of Pediatrics, UCONN School of Medicine. Taryn was appointed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health as a member of the Palliative Care Advisory Council in 2016. Taryn’s interests include clinician education, increasing access to pediatric palliative care and helping to further develop Connecticut Children’s Sunflower Kids Program.
