Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Student Placements

Departments throughout the Medical Center participate in educational placements for nurse practitioner and physician assistant students.

How to Request a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Student Placement

Students who participate in an education placement must be receiving school credit and be currently attending a school that has a valid affiliation agreement in place with us. View a list of affiliated schools

Your Clinical Coordinator from your affiliated school should contact Petronella Stoltz to discuss the availability of placements. Once a placement is approved, the preceptor will notify the Learning and Performance Department to confirm the placement.

If you are not a student or faculty member from a currently affiliated school but are interested in placement at Connecticut Children’s as part of your degree program, please click here for more detailed information on how to request a nurse practitioner/physician assistant student placement.

Please note: Connecticut Children’s does not have any Primary Care rotations available for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant placements.
