Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Juvenile fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome are chronic disorders characterized mainly by aches and fatigue, both of which may be influenced by psychosocial factors. Since the primary care provider knows the family well, he or she is in a better position to understand the forces shaping these two disorders, and is best able to manage the patient with specialty guidance provided by Connecticut Children’s physicians.
