Building Resilient and Able Teens: Progressive Muscle Relaxation
This is a skills based group designed for teenagers (ages 13-17) who want to learn new
ways to manage and cope with a chronic illness or medical condition. Participants will learn evidence-based self-regulation skills that can help manage chronic pain, decrease stress and anxiety, improve mood, and increase feelings of self-confidence and positivity.
Join us for peer support, education, and relaxation led by a Licensed Psychologist and Social Worker.
We encourage participants to attend all four sessions:

Restorative Yoga with a Registered Yoga Teacher
Wednesday, October 11
Diaphragmatic Breathing and Biofeedback
Wednesday, October 25
Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Wednesday, November 8
All sessions are held 4 – 5 pm
This group is free of charge and all equipment is provided.
