This course is for people (14 and over) who want to learn the skills to perform CPR but do not need a course completion card for professional certification. This training is ideal for parents, grandparents, teachers, babysitters, and anyone else who is interested. Family & Friends® CPR at Connecticut Children’s is taught by a certified American Heart Association Instructor, who creates a supportive and non-stressful learning environment.

Participants walk away with:

  • Practical skills to perform Infant, Child, and Adult CPR
  • Techniques in the Relief of Choking
  • Ability to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Personal Copy of the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends® CPR Student Manual

Please note that you WILL NOT receive a CPR certification card after completing this course. This course is for skills learning only.
