Take Part in the “Be a Voice for Kids” Selfie Challenge

Kids can’t vote, so it is up to us to be their voices at the ballot box! Many policies that impact children – from education to healthcare to housing – are decided by elected officials at the municipal, state and federal level.

We need your help demonstrating why voting matters for kids! Take part in the Be a Voice for Kids selfie challenge. Print this flyer, fill out why you vote for kids and snap a selfie. Send your photo to voteforkids@connecticutchildrens.org. Submissions will be shared in our online photo gallery below and with Connecticut Children’s team members! Take a look at some of great selfies that have already come our way!

If you’re looking for additional resources, the Government Relations team at Connecticut Children’s put together a comprehensive voters’ guide with resources including how to talk to candidates about key children’s issues and the steps you should take to make sure you’re prepared ahead of election day.
