Isabella was under a year old when a several tumors were discovered – one of which was causing her severe hydrocephalus. The procedure was a successful one and her mother happily reports Isabella’s tumors are in fact shrinking as a result of her treatments and medication.
Margie was 17 when routine testing for another condition revealed a large tumor on her optic nerve. She underwent endoscopic surgery and was able to return to school just a few weeks later.
“In this new life I hope to be the best survivor I can be,” Monique says. “I want to strive to dedicate myself to helping people that may have been or are going through similar situations.”
