Athletic Training Residency Program Application Process Education/License/Certification Requirements Current NATA BOC certification Current CPR/AED certification Current Connecticut State Licensure, or eligible Qualification Preferences Master’s Degree, or intent to graduate by the year of application Minimum 2 years of Certified Athletic Training experience (post undergraduate) Application Review Process Applications, resumes, and cover letters will be reviewed from March 1st – March 31st Interviews will be extended to 5-10 applicants before April 5th Interview Process Interviews will be held during the final 3 weeks of April Interviews will be conducted at Connecticut Children’s Sports Medicine, located in Farmington, Connecticut Interviews will be with all of our providers, both staff athletic trainers, the current ATC resident, and our practice manager A full tour of the facility will also be conducted during the interview For additional information please contact: Kyle Kostyun, MS, ATC Athletic Training Residency Program Coordinator Connecticut Children’s Sport Medicine
