Athletic Training Residency Program Application Process Education/License/Certification Requirements Current NATA BOC certification Current CPR/AED certification Current Connecticut State Licensure, or eligible Qualification Preferences Master’s Degree, or intent to graduate by the year of application Minimum 2 years of Certified Athletic Training experience (post undergraduate) Application Review Process Applications, resumes, and cover letters will be reviewed from March 1st – March 31st Interviews will be extended to 5-10 applicants before April 5th Interview Process Interviews will be held during the final 3 weeks of April Interviews will be conducted at Connecticut Children’s/Elite Sports Medicine, located in Farmington, Connecticut Interviews will be with all of our providers, both staff athletic trainers, the current ATC resident, and our practice manager A full tour of the facility will also be conducted during the interview For additional information please contact: Kyle Kostyun, MS, ATC Athletic Training Residency Program Coordinator Connecticut Children’s Elite Sport Medicine
