Clinic for Variations of Sex Development

Connecticut Children’s is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children of all ages with variations of sexual development. Multidisciplinary specialists from our divisions of Genetics, Urology, Psychiatry, Psychology and Endocrinology (GUPPE) provide personalized treatment options in a patient and family-centered environment.

GUPPE is overseen by co-medical directors Priya Phulwani, MD (Endocrinology) and Anne Dudley, MD (Urology). Bonnie Scranton, LCSW works with families regarding understanding and adjusting to their diagnoses and supporting the psychosocial needs of children, teens and parents.
