A pediatric hospitalist may be thought of as a general pediatrician who works in a hospital and cares for infants, children and teens who have been admitted to a hospital. We provide bedside care for a range of common and complex conditions.

Specially Trained to Care for Hospitalized Patients

Pediatric hospitalists are board-certified physicians, who are specially trained to serve the unique needs of a hospitalized child and family. They act on behalf of a primary care pediatrician and communicate directly with primary care providers to ensure continuous care once a child has returned home.
