Dr. Golden’s goal is to provide highest quality empathetic and evidence-based care to children and adults with congenital heart disease. He cares deeply about communication with both the patient and the family in outpatient and inpatient settings. As the Director of Inpatient Cardiology, his main clinical interests include inpatient cardiology, including pre and post-operative care, and other multidisciplinary collaborative initiatives.
He earned a Master of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014, and serves as Associate Director of Continuous Improvement at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. In this role, his chief interests include Toyota production system applications for healthcare, serving leadership, statistical processing control, and organizational behavior in healthcare. He is very energetic in the education of medical students, residents, nurses and other medical personnel.
