Our Commitment to the Community

An Important Message

At Connecticut Children’s, we are 100% dedicated to your child and family through our expert, compassionate, and family-centered care that’s given to everyone who comes through our doors. We remain steadfast in this commitment.

We know this is a time of uncertainty. With so many changes happening across the country, it’s completely understandable to feel deeply worried or unsettled about how shifting healthcare policies might affect your family. Please know: we see you, we hear you, and we’re standing beside you every step of the way.

No matter what is happening beyond our walls, Connecticut Children’s is, and always will be, a place where every child is cherished, every family is respected, and every team member is committed to care that honors your story. This isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.

If you have any questions about your child’s care at Connecticut Children's, please do not hesitate to call us at 860.545.9000.

How can we help you?

Planning Your Visit

At Connecticut Children’s, providing the best possible care begins before your child even enters one of our facilities. Get acquainted with our facilities and know what to expect before you arrive.

Child & Family Support Services

Our family support services make navigating medical options and managing the difficult factors of child illness easier for patients and families. Whether helping you find the information you need, introducing you to a support network of other families or providing coping strategies, our staff and services are available to help.

Medical Record Information

Connecticut Children’s uses electronic health records for your child’s medical record. Patients and families can easily access health records via MyChart.

Billing and Finances

Connecticut Children’s provides patient financial services to help families navigate the process of billing and medical insurance. We can help you understand the different fees, estimate financial liability or pay your bill online.

Nondiscrimination Statement

Connecticut Children’s complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate, exclude people or treat them differently on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, religious creed, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or marital status.

Patient and Family Bill of Rights & Responsibilities

We encourage patients and their families to speak openly with their health care team, take part in treatment choices, and promote their own safety by being well informed and involved in their care.

Family Resource Center

The RTX Family Resource Center is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our patients and families through family-centered care, education, and support. All patients and families are welcome to use the RTX Family Resource Center and its services during their experience at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

Grateful Families

When you partner with Connecticut Children’s Foundation as a grateful family, you are helping our team of fundraising professionals pursue funding to make investments in pediatric health care and better futures for children. At Connecticut Children’s, no child is denied care based on a family’s ability to pay. We are here for anyone who needs us…maybe even you.
