Allison Matthews-Wilson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Director for Connecticut Children’s Center for Care Coordination — overseeing Clinical Social Work, Nurse Case Management, as well as Community and Clinical Care Coordination. Allison is a graduate of the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. She has worked as both an in-home and community based child and family therapist, has been a guest lecturer on the impact of the social determinants of health for medical students and residents, and has been a mental health consultant for State agencies in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Allison’s passion is mental health awareness and advocacy for children and families at risk. She has been with Connecticut Children’s since 2008, and she’s currently focused on program and systems development within the Connecticut Children’s continuum of care that create seamless supports for families and work towards optimal child health and well-being.
