Education: BS, Cornell University, 1991 MD, SUNY-Brooklyn Downstate Medical Center, 1997 Residency: Pediatrics, Montefiore Medical Center and Jacobi Medical Center, 1997-2000 Fellowship: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Hospital-Cornell, 2000-2004 (Chief Fellow 2002-2003)

Dr. Boruchov is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist and Medical Director of the Pediatric Sickle Cell Program at Connecticut Children’s. She has a special interest in improving the lives and optimizing the care of children with sickle cell disease. She treats patients with cancers, bleeding problems, anemia and platelet disorders. Dr. Boruchov is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the New England Pediatric Sickle Cell Consortium. Dr. Boruchov completed medical school along with her residency and fellowship in New York. She was an attending pediatric hematologist/oncologist at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn prior to joining the staff at Connecticut Children’s.
