Hassan El Chebib, MD

Dr. El Chebib is an attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Connecticut Children’s and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests include infections in patients with immune deficiencies and post solid-organ transplants, antimicrobial stewardship, and bone and joint infections. Dr. El Chebib has been involved in multiple clinical trials in partnership with pharmaceutical companies studying medications and vaccines. He is a member of the antimicrobial stewardship committee as well solid organ transplantation committee. 

Additionally, Dr. El Chebib is program director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program where he established a combined internal medicine and pediatric infectious disease training program for eligible fellows.
