Dr. Moore comes to Connecticut Children’s from Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, where he served as the Director of their Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Dr. Moore received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University and earned his Masters of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, and Medical Degree from Emory University. He completed his pediatric residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he was also named Chief Fellow.
Dr. Moore is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the section for Perinatal Pediatrics. In addition to his role as chief of Connecticut Children’s NICU, Dr. Moore will serve as head of the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the UCONN School of Medicine.
