Dr. Young has expertise in the area of head injury and concussion, with extensive experience with the diagnosis and management of concussions caused by athletic injuries, motor vehicle accidents and blasts.
Dr. Young was elected to the Society of Distinguished Teachers at Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Young has more than 75 publications in the area of epilepsy, migraine and cerebral palsy.
Dr. Young is a Colonel (ret.) in the Connecticut Army National Guard. During his 15 years of service, Dr. Young provided neurological care to U.S. Service members while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Young has expertise in head injury and concussions. He is the Medical Advisor for the Branford Public Schools.
