Connecticut Children’s – Waterbury is located on the fourth floor of the Sacred Heart Building at Saint Mary’s Hospital.

Parking is available in the visitors garage on Cole Street. Valet parking is also offered at the front entrance to Saint Mary’s Hospital. Parking is free.

Visitation Policy

Before visiting, please review our visitation policy For the protection of our patients, all visitors will need to buzz the intercom on their way in and out of the hospital. 

Amenities

To make your visit at Connecticut Children’s – Waterbury as comfortable as possible, there is a cafeteria open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a playroom inside the pediatric unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital. Parents are asked to supervise children at all times while in the playroom. Complimentary coffee, tea and a small selection of snacks are available for caregivers.

Cafeteria Hours (Daily)

Breakfast: 6:30-10 am
Lunch: 11 am-1:30 pm M-F
Dinner: 4:30-7:30 pm

Subway® Restaurant is also located near the cafeteria, open 9 am-8 pm M-F and 10 am-8 pm weekends.

While tending to your child’s medical needs, Connecticut Children’s is also concerned with the emotional and spiritual support needed by your family. Our staff and social workers are always available to meet any of your needs and provide assistance.
