Francis DiMario, MD, is a pediatric neurologist at Connecticut Children’s. Dr. DiMario’s academic focus is on clinical teaching and conducting research on children with non-epileptic paroxysmal disorders and neurocutaneous diseases. He has championed professional development and faculty affairs for the department.
Dr. DiMario completed medical school at Tufts University, pediatric residency at Vermont Medical Center, neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and pediatric neurology residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. DiMario is an active member of the Child Neurology Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Neurological Association, the Society for Pediatric Research, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He previously served on the editorial board of Journal of Pediatrics, the medical advisory board for the National Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, and the Epilepsy Foundation of America Connecticut chapter. He currently serves on the editorial board of Pediatric Neurology.
Dr. DiMario is a certified Institutional Review Board (IRB) professional, is a current board member of the Hartford County Medical Association, and is on the editorial board of Pediatric Neurology.
