Jason Prevelige, MBA, MHS, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in the Divisions of Hospital Medicine and Urgent Care at Connecticut Children’s. Jason has spent his career practicing emergency medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury and serves there as the Advanced Practice Provider Leader. St. Mary’s is where he also provides care to the inpatient pediatric population at Connecticut Children’s original satellite inpatient unit. He has also provided care to the ambulatory population at the Farmington Urgent Care location since it first opened in the fall of 2020.

Jason is an experienced advocate for the PA profession, having served two terms as President of the Connecticut Academy of PAs (ConnAPA) and as a Director at Large on the Board of the American Academy of PAs (AAPA). He is the current Legislative Committee Chair for ConnAPA. He is a PA educator, instructing in pediatrics and emergency medicine for the Sacred Heart University PA Program, and clinically precepts PA, NP, and medical students from several schools. In his free time, Jason enjoys serving as a volunteer fire chief, traveling, watching and playing hockey, and of course, spending time with his wife and elementary school-aged son.
