Dr. Trzaski is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics. She is board-certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatology, and she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Trzaski serves as director of the fellowship training program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine/Connecticut Children’s. She has always had an interest in medical education. She received the UCONN Neonatal Fellowship award for excellence in teaching. She developed a new fellowship educational series and is working on integrating simulation training into the fellowship curriculum. Dr. Trzaski is involved in the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Organization of Neonatal Training Program Directors’ efforts to build a neonatal national curriculum. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running and yoga.
