Preeti Sandhu, PsyD, is a Pediatric Psychologist, in the Division of Pain and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Sandhu’s areas of expertise include: providing multidisciplinary care to those with chronic pain, gastrointestinal disorders, feeding disorders, and other pediatric health conditions; use of evidenced-based treatment interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy or Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and other factors that may influence chronic pain; and education and consultation of the biopsychosocial and non-dualistic model of pain symptoms to patients, families, and other care providers within the community to best serve the patient’s needs.
