Dr. Weiss’ surgical expertise encompasses general pediatric surgery, neonatal surgery, surgical oncology, thoracic surgery, thyroid surgery, and GI tract surgery (including IBD). He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Weiss is co-director of the fetal evaluation center of Connecticut Children’s and Hartford Hospital, and site director of the University of Connecticut surgery residency program.
