I'm 50 and have had chronic medical issues my whole life. No one could properly diagnose me. I started to see Dr Shai for my congenital heart defects. He was extremely thorough and was able to figure out that I have a rare genetic disorder. My quality of life has improved significantly since his diagnosis allows for proper medical care. I will always be grateful to him.

I believe this is more a function of caseload than personality, but it was clear at this last visit that the doctor has very little recollection of past activity related to med changes, etc. Which where documented in the portal. Further it is hoped that this feedback can be provided so care is not siloed especially if patients are children w multiple providers.

I ([...] Dad) brought up a question to Dr Shailendra regarding the life of her Pacemaker as he made a reference on her last visit. He had the info right in the computer that it was 2.2 years! Very confident with him for many years now!

I do appreciate the knowledge and expertise of my doctor. I was fortunate to not have any major changes with my heart condition.[...] I am not interested in being subject to a study or being studied due to my success and healthy living with my congenital heart issues. Honestly my doctor scared me and told me that due to my condition I could expect issues in the future. He asked if I had anxiety and no I don't but when you tell a heathy 38 year old you that you can expect to have issues that is unsettling. I left feeling glad to not have changes but worried about the future.

We were given the discharge paperwork and on the paperwork was a condition that was not mentioned during the visit. I did not see this until we were back at the car and had to turn around and go back to the office. We then had to wait for the doctor to be available. He explained that it is not an issue of concern and apologized for not mentioning it. It was concerning that a condition would be listed ont he discharge paper and not mentioned at all during the visit no matter how minor he may think it is.
