Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a dynamic course developed by the American Heart Association to prepare the health care provider with the knowledge and skills needed for pediatric resuscitation. The course is intended for physicians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists and advanced practitioners who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
