Fellows in the University of Connecticut School of Medicine's ACGME-accredited pediatric fellowship programs receive their training primarily at Connecticut Children's main campus in Hartford, Connecticut. Connecticut Children’s is Connecticut's only health system dedicated to pediatrics. Ranked as one of the best children’s hospitals in the nation, we foster a patient- and family-centered environment with a focus on research, education and advocacy.

Diversity & Inclusion

The Connecticut Children’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee is comprised of residents, fellows, attending faculty and hospital staff who are focused on expanding the diversity and inclusion within the Pediatric Training Programs to include participants from groups underrepresented in medicine (URM), and to become more representative of the populations we serve. In doing so, we hope to increase interest of URM applicants to our fellowship program, create an environment where URM fellows feel supported and provide our patients with physician role-models.

Fellow Wellness

We understand the importance of wellness during training and beyond. In order to help our fellows learn professional and personal skills that will keep them engaged and resilient throughout their careers, we offer a variety of wellness activities.

Holiday Observances

We offer each fellow time to enjoy the holidays with their families and friends. Each fellow receives up to 7 days of non-clinical time in addition to their 4 weeks of vacation time in observance of holidays.
