New gift from the Ferrucci family will enhance care for children across the region
Hartford, CT—Connecticut Children’s, the state’s only healthcare system dedicated exclusively to the care of children, has received a new seven-figure philanthropic commitment from Frank Ferrucci and the Ferrucci family. The $1 million gift will support Connecticut Children’s new eight-story clinical Tower and the expansion of facilities and services across the region through the organization’s new comprehensive “100% Campaign.” In recognition of this transformative gift, the Tower’s new wellness room for patients, families, and team members will be named the Ferrucci Family Wellness Room.
This new gift builds on the Ferrucci family’s history of leadership, service, and generosity to Connecticut Children’s, both personally and through F+F Mechanical Enterprises, the family-owned commercial mechanical contractor Frank Ferrucci leads as President. Mr. Ferrucci also serves on Connecticut Children’s Corporate Board of Directors.
Based in North Haven, Connecticut, F+F Mechanical is one of Connecticut Children’s most visible corporate partners, sponsoring both the hospital’s annual Superhero Sunday community event and Connecticut Children’s Foundation’s Gala. Each year, F+F Mechanical employees comprise the largest corporate team participant in Superhero Sunday’s 5K fundraising race, a powerful show of support for children and families across the region.

Located on the Tower’s street-level floor, next to the new café, the Ferrucci Family Wellness Room will be a dedicated space designed to support the well-being of all who use it—from nursing mothers and parents who need to check glucose levels or take medication, to team members who need a quiet moment to pause and re-center before returning to work.
