Call for Abstracts

Connecticut Children’s Research Institute welcomes research abstract submissions to the 6th Annual Connecticut Children's Research Institute Symposium with invited and local speakers, panel sessions, and podium and poster abstract presentations.

If interested in being considered for a podium or poster presentation, investigators should submit a 250-word abstract with relevance to child health. We welcome submissions from faculty and team members at Connecticut Children's and collaborating institutions (UConn, UConn Health, JAX-GM, Quinnipiac, Hartford Health, etc.), including trainees and learners.

All abstracts meeting the minimum requirements will be invited to present their posters at the symposium the evening of November 9th and are requested to submit a virtual abstract to share. Submitted abstracts will be scored by three independent reviewers, and those with the top three scores within each category (Basic/Translational; Clinical; Population and Community Health) will be recognized. The top abstract in each category will be invited to present their poster in a podium presentation on November 10th.
