Center for Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Allergic Gastrointestinal Disorders
The Eosinophilic Esophagitis program, under the leadership of Wael Sayej, MD, is one of the largest programs in the Northeast. We provide state-of-the-art multidisciplinary care for nearly 400 patients with eosinophilic esophagitis.
Our team includes gastroenterologists, radiologists, surgeons, a psychologist, registered nurses, registered dietitians, and a social worker. We perform procedures at Connecticut Children’s main campus in Hartford and at the new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center in Farmington, CT.
We are actively involved in clinical research, clinical trials, and basic science and translational research.
