With the goal of improving function, Connecticut Children’s Occupational Therapy (OT) department provides specialized treatment to children from birth to age 18 who are affected by serious injuries and illnesses, physical challenges, and developmental disabilities.
Based on a comprehensive assessment of a child’s physical, emotional and developmental needs, Connecticut Children’s occupational therapists develop personalized treatment plans that help children achieve increased independence by establishing or rehabilitating skills.
