Connecticut Children’s Sleep Center specializes in diagnosing disorders that disturb children’s sleep. Our highly trained physicians use polysomnography, a type of sleep study, to identify sleep problems. Our Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Because the body acts differently during sleep, a sleep study is used to monitor several body functions including breathing, eye movements, sleep stages, muscle activity, body positions, heartbeat and brain waves.
In addition to our board-certified physicians, our team includes registered polysomnographic technologists who set up and monitor children’s sleep studies.
Our goal: to give you and your child a good night’s sleep.
