Dr. Chicaiza completed a fellowship at Connecticut Children’s in pediatric emergency medicine. Prior to this, Dr. Chicaiza completed his pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center/ Tufts University School of Medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College in New York and earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Chicaiza is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Medical Association. He is certified in both Pediatric Advance Life Support and Advance Trauma Life Support. His special areas of interest include bedside ultrasonography and diagnostic research.
