    Clinical Expertise

    Dr. Laurich is an Emergency Medicine Physician in the Emergency Department at Connecticut Children’s in Hartford. His clinical and research interests include the febrile young infant and pediatric sepsis and septic shock. Dr. Laurich completed his residency in Pediatrics at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian at Columbia University Medical Center in 2008. He then completed his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in 2011. During fellowship, Dr. Laurich’s research focused on the use of bedside ultrasound to evaluate first-trimester pregnancy complications in pregnant adolescents.
