Garry Lapidus, PA-C, MPH, is a Physician Assistant in the Division of Emergency Medicine and Co-Director of the Office of Advanced Practice Providers at Connecticut Children’s. Additionally, Mr. Lapidus is the Director of Research Operations and Development, providing oversight for the development of scientific research at Connecticut Children’s. He is directly accountable for strategic projects and initiatives that support investigator-initiated research.
Mr. Lapidus is also the former Director and Co-Founder of the Injury Prevention Center. He is a national leader in injury prevention research, education and training, community-based programs, and public policy. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Charles Huntington Award from the Connecticut Public Health Association (2013) and the Distinguished Career Award from the American Public Health Association (2020).
