helping your child thrive — mind, body, and beyond

At Connecticut Children’s, we believe in treating the whole child — not just the number on the scale. Our weight management services take a holistic, team-based approach to care that supports your child’s physical, emotional, and developmental health.

When you come to us, you’ll meet a team of dedicated specialists from multiple disciplines — all working together to understand your child’s unique needs and create a personalized care plan. From pediatricians and dietitians to psychologists and physical activity experts, we’re here to help your child build healthy habits, grow with confidence, and thrive at every stage.

personalized options to fit your family’s needs

We know that getting healthy isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey — every child and every family is different. That’s why we offer a variety of program options designed to meet your unique needs, preferences, and goals.

Our providers will walk you through each program in detail, helping you choose the one that’s the best fit for your child and your family. We’ll continue to check in along the way to make sure the approach is still working — and adjust if needed.

No matter which program you choose, success takes time, consistency, and commitment. We ask families to stay positive, supportive, and engaged — your encouragement can make all the difference in keeping your child motivated and moving forward.
