Connecticut Children’s Division of Infectious Diseases & Immunology specializes in providing expert clinical care for children of all ages who suffer from acute and chronic infectious diseases and immunodeficiency disorders. We treat common and complex infectious diseases and immunodeficiency disorders, such as bone and joint infections, infectious mononucleosis, tick-borne infections and recurrent fever syndromes, among others. We are committed to social justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation to bring advanced care to kids worldwide.
Our team of board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers, nutritionists, case managers, and social workers provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient evaluation, treatment and follow-up care to more than 2,000 children and adolescents each year. Connecticut Children’s is the primary referral center for infectious disease and immunology consultations for pediatricians across the region. Learn more about our team »
To make an appointment, patient families need to obtain a referral from their child’s pediatrician. Note that the service will be billed to the patients’ insurance providers.
