Video Consultations Now Available: Answering Our Patient Families’ COVID-19 Vaccine Questions

Connecticut Children’s is committed to helping patients and families stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes educating families about the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As vaccine eligibility expands, some families may need educational support in deciding if their children should be vaccinated. To help, Connecticut Children’s Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology is now offering video visit consultations to provide information and answer their questions. The service will also help our referring providers and our own specialists offer additional assistance to their patients who are asking an increasing number of questions about the vaccine.

To make an appointment, patient families need to obtain a referral from their child’s pediatrician. Note that the service will be billed to the patients’ insurance providers.
