Research Happening Across Connecticut Children’s Connecticut Children’s, in partnership with the University of Connecticut, is committed to discovery through research. Our research is focused on such topics as solid tumors, regenerative medicine, therapy for children with ulcerative colitis, necrotizing enterocolitis, early predictors of heart damage in pediatric cancer patients, the reduction of congenital syphilis in Haiti and Columbia, and much more. Over the past several years, Connecticut Children’s has experienced remarkable growth and expansion in our research enterprise. Our combined faculty regularly present their findings at multiple regional, national and international venues, publish their work in peer-reviewed journals and produce several book chapters.
